B-21 Raider: Training Systems Innovation Challenge

The Air Force invests years and millions of dollars to train pilots and maintainers at bases around the globe. The Air Force is interested in exploring ways to reduce the cost of training devices/methods and increasing the speed at which trainees can progress through pilot and maintainer training programs, while achieving proper retention of information. The future virtual training environment (VTE) for pilots and maintainers serves as the end-to-end content creation and delivery platform for the program.

Line of Effort - Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) Workshop

The AF Digital Campaign Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) team (LOE #1) is holding a by-invitation workshop to establish the next instantiation of the AF IDE design. This workshop includes a review of the foundational Tech Stack as a Service (TSaaS) concept, an industry panel discussing the opportunities and challenges of the government owned TSaaS approach, and an update on parallel efforts on the Acquisition and Sustainment Data Package effort.

For 2021, the 64th Annual Fuze Conference has its sights set on the development, production, and performance of fuze advancements as they relate to defense and national security within the time of a global pandemic. While warfare is becoming increasingly complex, the continued and enhanced exploration of fuzing is critical. Through its facilitation of effective and productive collaboration between industry, government, and academia during classified and unclassified sessions, the Fuze Conference advances the field and art of fuzing for the benefit of our current and future warfighters.
