Department of the Air Force UARC Outreach Event

The Department of the Air Force (DAF) is creating the first Historically Black Colleges, and Universities (HBCU) led University Affiliated Research Center (UARC). This is also the first DAF UARC. The UARC’s core competencies will focus on advancing the deployment of tactical autonomy for DAF missions.

WEPCON consists of classified forums introducing new technologies, discussing capability gaps, and highlighting opportunities for engagement between industry partners and the Department of Defense.

Weapons Pitch Day

U.S. Air Force “Pitch Days” have been likened to the Air Force’s version of “Shark Tank” – as the event is focused on lowering the barrier to entry through accelerated, same-day contracting for entrepreneurs, technologists, small businesses, etc. – innovators who are intent on bringing cutting-edge ideas to the Air Force.

2023 Air Force Cyberspace and Crypto

During the week of 2-6 May 2022, the Air Force’s Cyberspace Superiority Mission Area together with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s (AFLCMC’s) Crypto/Cyber Systems Division plan to co-sponsor the 2022 Cyberspace and Crypto Independent Research & Development (IR&D) Technology Interchange Meeting (TIM). This will be a classified event and will likely be held at Kelly Field, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX.

Cyberworx

Air Force CyberWorx is a United States Air Force unit that solves operational problems by collaborating with government, industry, and academic experts through intentional human-centered design activities.  We work with our stakeholders to quickly design and develop creative solutions that solve problems for the warfighters who need them the most.
