During the week of 15-19 May 2023, the Department of Defense (DoD) Communities of Interest (CoIs) for Human Systems and Biomedical are joining together for an Independent Research and Development (IR&D) Technology Interchange Meeting (TIM) with interested Industry parties.

One lesser-known benefit of DoD S&T is its contributions to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HA/DR), and Small Business Innovation Research program (SBIR).

The Wright-Patterson AFB Tech Expo connects government and industry to collaborate on mission requirements and technology solutions. This event, which is open and free to all Wright-Patterson AFB, provides an opportunity to see the latest in emerging technologies and network with industry experts.

The Department of the Air Force, Chief Modeling and Simulation Officer (CMSO) , Mr. Richard Tempalski, and the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO) of the U.S. Space Force, Dr. Lisa Costa, will be hosting the 2nd annual Department of the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Summit on Tuesday, May 9th – Thursday, May 11th 2023 at The Clyde Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The Technical Showcase aims to strengthen and broaden science and technology collaborations among industry, academia, and the Department of Defense (DoD) through a monthly topic-focused interchange event. This event series will provide opportunities for industry and academia to showcase their cutting-edge technologies and capabilities to scientists and engineers from the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate (AFRL/RW) and other DoD research labs located throughout the country.

An inaugural event developed in coordination with the U.S. Space Force's Space Systems Command.

Space Mobility will mobilize commercial industry executives and high-ranking officials from state and government agencies to assure access and superiority in the highly contested space domain.
