Project Bravo: Flight Data Challenge

Project Bravo is named after Project B, a series of joint Army-Navy target exercises on surplus ships in response to arguments made by Army BG Billy Mitchell. Project B organized data driven test exercises at the request of senior DoD leaders to validate beliefs about the future of airfare. Hosted by the Secretary of the Air Force’s Chief Digital Transformation Officer Stuart Wagner, Project Bravo will be a hackathon event to validate use case assumptions for high visibility Air Force and DoD efforts to kickstart DoD innovation.

Col Nate Diller, Director, AFWERX

Colonel Nathan P. Diller is the Director of AFWERX. Colonel Diller received his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2000. After simultaneous Masters’ at Harvard and MIT, he attended Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training and flew F-16s for two Combat Air Force assignments, becoming an instructor pilot. He was selected for the French Test Pilot school and then completed his first test tour at Edwards AFB, supporting B-1, B-2, F-16, F-22 and F-35 flight test and instructing at the Test Pilot School.

Things (objects) in ThingWorx represent the business domain including operational technology systems and other physical assets. Things allow ThingWorx to integrate all data and information about assets in one centralized place. Each Thing in the physical world has a digital representation, or digital twin, within the ThingWorx domain model.
